Labor Pains: Because Being in a Union can be Painful

Liberal newspaper whines on behalf of Lunsford

It is amazing how the Courier-Journal continues to stick up for Bruce Lunsford. But I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. They’ve been serving as a mouthpiece for his campaign for some time now. In an article yesterday, they criticized the Employee Freedom Action Committee for educating voters on an issue that is important to the working men and women of Kentucky.

The Employee Freedom Action Committee is an organization that is dedicated to telling voters the truth about the deceptively-named Employee Free Choice Act and they are doing so completely within the law. The article described this group as one that citizens should be “concerned” about. What we really need to be concerned about is the fact that the liberal media of Kentucky never whines when a left-wing organization takes its turn on the airwaves to attack a Republican candidate. The tables have turned and the Democrats don’t like it so the Courier-Journal is doing their dirty work.

The point is we are finally having a healthy debate on the rights of Kentucky workers while demonstrating a distinct difference in the candidates for U.S. Senate.

While Lunsford continues to align himself with the union bosses and take their contributions he also promises to advance their agenda, specifically the Employee Free Choice Act which will strip workers of their right to a private ballot vote when it comes to unionization.

This is an issue that Kentuckians need to be aware of before they cast their vote in November.
Let’s hope the liberal media will not try to stifle this discussion any further.
