Sunday’s San Francisco Chronicle includes a piece from David White from the Lexington Institute detailing how typical features of teachers union contracts amount to “a staggeringly large taxpayer subsidy to teachers unions” (note that it says teachers unions, not teachers). White makes some good points (click here to read the whole op-ed), but the Chronicle threw in something extra — a photographical statement of the problem:
