Boy, have we been having one heckuva time getting Democrat Congressional candidate Ashwin Madia to talk with us about his support for EFCA and worker intimidation by union organizers.

During our first encounter, Madia asks us to set up a meeting. The next time, he has one of his handlers stall us, while he slinks away. Finally, he resorts to that oldest of all political tricks, running away…literally.

This is not exactly your basic profile in political courage. How in the world is this guy going to stand up to all the lobbyists and special interests in Washington if he can’t answer a simple question from two guys with a camera?

Then again, if I were supporting EFCA, I’d run and hide, too. It’s an embarrassment.
