There’s this news from the Allentown, Pennsylvania Morning Call:
By a 17-7 vote Friday, the employees agreed to join Service Employees International Union Local 473/395, said local President Nick Balzano.
Congratulations to those employees who got the union they wanted. But the more pertinent issue is why won’t SEIU bosses allow all janitors — and all working Americans, for that matter — to vote in elections overseen by the federal government? Clearly the issue isn’t really alleged harassment by employers, after all — instead it’s all about how to get the most members and their dues logged into union ledgers.
