One Less Crisis?

Mike Antonucci of the Education Intelligence Agency had a great round-up yesterday of the highlights from a National Center for Education Statistics report suggesting that teacher retention and job satisfaction are doing all right. He concludes: “NEA and AFT have yet to comment on the report, but I doubt they are going to cheer the news that America’s teachers are largely satisfied with their jobs, dedicated to their profession, and are not fleeing in droves to the private sector. Which makes you wonder why they would have you think otherwise.”
