Labor Pains: Because Being in a Union can be Painful

Union-Funded ACORN “sets a new standard for fraud activity”

There you go again, ACORN. Time and again union-funded ACORN says it’s not responsible for the fraud committed by its own staff. It’s apparently not enough that in at least 13 states ACORN employees have been connected with potential voter registration fraud. The group’s questionable activities in  two counties in Washington State continue to put the lie to ACORN’s claims. After a half-dozen former employees admitted to filling out false voter registration cards with names out of a phone book, a King County elections official said “this sets a new standard for fraud activity.”

From the Seattle Times:

The King County Canvassing Board revoked the registrations of 1,762 fraudulently registered voters this morning.

The board took the action after senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Stephen Hobbs told the board that six signature gatherers hired by ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, had admitted filling out registration forms with names they found in phone books last October.
