Labor-backed politicians finally caved in my home state. They’re making sure SEIU and AFSCME — major donors — can organize state employees through “card check” and without “subjecting the workers to an election” in which they can privately vote their conscience.

As the Statesman Journal notes:

But in some cases in which the “card check” system was used, such as the recent union drive among adult foster-care providers, many workers complained that union activists used deceptive means to persuade workers to sign union-authorization cards.
